| Description | DNCE 508, Strategies for Using Movement As a Teaching Tool, is a summer workshop class offered July 12, 14 & 16, 2010. Workshop emphasizes how to teach concepts through movement. Participants learn to create and tailor movement experiences appropriate for communicating content and elements of the educational curriculum to students. A Multiple Intelligences approach to teaching is demonstrated throughout along with Active Learning teaching strategies. One hour graduate student credit is possible. Workshop is taught by Sandra Minton, Ph. D. at the University of Northern Colorado Denver Center through the UNC Office of Extended Studies.
