| Description | DNCE 508, Using Movement As a Teaching Strategy in Education in 2010, is an on-line class offered September 20 to December 6. Class emphasizes how to teach concepts through movement. Participants learn to create movement experiences appropriate for communicating content and elements of the educational curriculum to students. A Multiple Intelligences approach to teaching is demonstrated throughout along with Active Learning teaching strategies. Two hours of graduate credit are possible. Workshop is taught by Sandra Minton, Ph. D. through the University of Northern Colorado Office of Extended Studies.
