| Emphasis in the workshops is on teaching academic concepts through movement. Participants learn to tailor movement experiences appropriate for communicating specific ideas to students. Both literal and abstract methods are used to create movements. A Multiple Intelligences approach to learning is demonstrated throughout the class along with active learning teaching strategies. Dance-making and connections between movement-based teaching techniques and popular educational theories are also provided. Workshops are presented in both face-to-face and on-line formats. | |||||

| Each summer we offer two two-week dance-based international rites of passage journeys, one for youth and one for adults. Our work is rooted in the Five Rhythms™ and serving the entire lifespan from pregnant women to the elderly. We offer community events each month along with workshops and trainings year round. | |||||
