| Littleton Dance Academy is looking for a modern dance teacher to teach its Pre-Professional Ballet Division students. Students would range in age from 12 to 19 and have a strong background in ballet as well as many being versatile in jazz, tap, and hip hop. Pay would depend on experience. We are looking for an instructor on Wednesday afternoons beginning at 4:30. Our studios are located 10 minutes south of Denver right off Santa Fe Drive. We are looking to fill this position in August. | ||

The show runs December 8-11 with mandatory rehearsals on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays beginning in September. There will be seven performances that take place at Aurora Central High School. This program is supported by the SCFD. |

Seeking highly-qualified ballet instructors Ballet Nouveau Colorado has been providing exceptional dance training since 1992. In 1999, we became a certified Community School of the Arts, providing conservatory quality training to students of all aspirations. Our syllabus is based on a mixture of the English RAD system, the Italian Cecchetti method, and the French system, and our “neutral” technique builds a great deal of strength and versatility. As our students progress through our ballet levels, they begin the study of Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, and Pilates in order to build diversity in their technique. We are committed to training in an anatomically specific and kinesthetically healthy way. Must be available to work on Saturday mornings from 9:00am-11:00am. Qualifications • Degree in dance or extensive experience as a dance professional • Teaching experience, which should include teaching both inside and outside the dance studio classroom • Fun, exuberant personality • Creativity and flexibility • Commitment to high standards • Familiarity with English, Italian, and/or French systems of ballet training and an ability and willingness to learn and teach by BNC’s syllabus • Exceptional communication skills and ability to effectively work with people of all ages, backgrounds and positions • Passion for teaching students at beginning and intermediate levels • Experience teaching adults Compensation / benefits • Hourly salary based on experience • Free classes at the School of Ballet Nouveau Colorado • Free tickets to BNC shows and events • Start date: immediately |
