How can I join CDA?
You can join online from this website. Click on Membership and you will be guided on how to join. Fill out the membership form and click “Submit.” You will be prompted to fix any errors on the form and then be given payment options. You can do that online, paying by PayPal, and an e-copy of your membership form will go to CDA. Or you can choose to print out the form and send it with a check for the appropriate dues to:

How can I make sure my membership is up to date?
All CDA membership dues payments are due on October 1 of each year. New members who join after June 1 of any given year get their memberships extended through the following year. If you have any questions about your membership call CDA at 303-331-2457 or e-mail by clicking here.
When I try and log in using my email address I am told to enter my password. How do I get that password?
How can I renew my membership? When I try to do that on the "Join CDA" page I am told my email address is already in use.
How can I donate to CDA?
Go to the Donate page and it will show you how to donate either online through Paypal, or by sending a check made out to Colorado Dance Alliance.
How do I sign up for a CDA Master class?
You can call the CDA info line to sign up at 303-331-2457. If you provide the date of the Master Class event that you are interested in and leave your contact information, a CDA representative will return your call ASAP. You may also sign up and make a payment through the Paypal link on this site. If you already have an account on this website, regardless of whether you are a member or not, click here to login. If you have not yet set up an account, click here to do so. Once you are logged in, click on the "Purchase Membership/Credits" to sign up for the workshop and pay using Paypal. how to donate either online through Paypal, or by sending a check made out to Colorado Dance Alliance.
What is the deadline for submitting items to the CDA Newsletter?
It is the fifteenth of every other month. The deadlines are December 15 (Jan/Feb Newsletter), February 15 (Mar/Apr Newsletter), April 15 (May/June Newsletter), June 15 (July/Aug Newsletter), August 15 (Sept/Oct Newsletter), and October 15 (Nov/Dec Newsletter). Listing items will also be posted on the Website within five days after receiving any required payment.
Will the Performance Calendar Listings be included in the CDA Newsletter?
Yes. All current performances that you post in the CDA online calendar will automatically be included in our bi-monthly Newsletter. CDA invites the Colorado dance community to post upcoming performances in our online Calendar. You can submit a performance event by clicking here. One of the benefits of CDA membership is that members can also post classes, workshops, auditions, summer courses, competitions, festivals, and other dance events in the online Calendar for free. Non-members may only post in the performance section of the calendar for free.
How can the Colorado Dance Alliance help me advertise my performances, workshops or classes?
List your events on CDA’s website, and, if still current, they will be automatically carried over to CDA’s bi-monthly newsletter, and also you can list your organization in our directory. CDA members get to post for FREE on the website and in the newsletter, except for the CDA Dance Directory, which is restricted the members and costs even them $20/listing. This website includes the opportunity for you to submit any listings you desire using online forms and submitting them electronically, and to pay for them with PayPal using your own PayPal account or credit card, or by sending us a check to Post Office Box 9857, Denver CO 80209-0857. Please make sure you indicate what that check is for. Listings will be posted on the website within five days of receiving any required payment.
How can I find out about dance performances in Colorado?
Check out the Performance Calendar on this Website and in the CDA bi-monthly Newsletter. You can also subscribe to the Boulder Arts Resources and its Dance Bridge newsletters that list performances state-wide. Check them out in our CDA Dance Directory.
Where can I get dance books and videos?
Many Colorado University libraries have collections of dance books and videos. Some of these collections can be checked on the internet. Of special interest is the Carson-Brierly Dance Library in the Penrose Library at the University of Denver. Special requirements for checking out books and videos are up to the individual libraries.
How can I find rehearsal space?
Check the CDA Website listings, the CDA Directory, and the CDA newsletter. Included in the listings in those entities are spaces for rent.
Where can I purchase dance supplies?
Check the CDA Directory under Dance Clothing Suppliers, and look for our advertisers on the CDA Website and CDA Newsletter.
How can I purchase the CDA mailing list to help me publicize my own events?
Out of respect for its members' personal information CDA does not sell or rent its mailing list.
How can I get a copy of the Colorado Dance Standards and Benchmarks?
Both items can be printed out from this website. Look for them on our Dance Education page.
