In 2009 CDA established The Richard Denny Young Dancer Scholarship in memory and honor of the late Richard Denny’s dedication to dance in Colorado. Three scholarships are adjudicated by an expert panel based on performance and supportive nominations. In order to continue this program, CDA established a dedicated fund. In anticipation of the awards to be made this November, a fundraiser is planned. Friday, September 10, 2010, 7-10 PM.

The Colorado Dance Alliance receieved a generous grant from the Capezio/Ballet Makers Dance Foundation (www.capeziodance.com/aboutus/philanthropy.php) in June 2010 to support the CDA Mission and to communicate with the Colorado Dance Community through the CDA website. CDA is grateful for having received this grant two years in a row.
The September/October 2010 issue of the CDA Newsletter is now posted on this site. All current members of CDA will be sent links to download PDF copies of that Newsletter in various ways. Those ways will allow you to include, or not include the calendar and images. Just pick the download you prefer, click on the link provided, and you will get a PDF format of your choice, which can be printed to give you your own hard copy. If you have lost the email we sent with the links (through Constant Contact) simply contact us through the "Contact Us" page and we will send you a new copy. Note that it is no longer necessary to be a member of CDA to list in the CDA Performance Calendar, or to pay for said listings. That is for performances only. For other listings such as classes, the lister must be a current member of CDA or pay through the Paypal link on this site.
